Now for a post-boxing day dump.

Work Christmas party was good fun. Lunch at the Hyatt in town and then off to a couple of bars for drinks. We made it to James Squires by four and stayed there drinking and playing pool until about eightish. Moved on from there to Bar Hidden as a guy from work was DJing. Stayed for a few and left at about nine thirtyish for the Apartment where we stayed until about eleven thirtyish before heading home. Lots of drink, lots of fun. Sa and Ga seemed a bit keen, as did R of course, but it was a fairly tame night. Got up the next morning and headed home with H to catch the family for Christmas. Got home and stayed for about twenty minutes before heading to G’s for poker. Cleaned up and walked away with an extra $120, so that was a good night. Christmas day was a fairly bland experience, with the day spent doing family stuff. Had a couple of extras, not too bad. Boxing day, H and I met G and Sh at the bowling green and bowled a few ends then went and saw the Incredibles that night, which I loved, mainly because it reminded me of the style typified by Shag. Ended up losing three games straight of five hundred afterwards though. Came home today and cooked up a roast with Gr and K, who I am apparently interested in. Could have sworn that was the other way around. Five beers and three bottles of wine later, here I am, blogging and getting ready to download all the podcasts I have missed by being home. A few days without inkernet and I feel out of the loop. How depressing.
