Friday Night

Some nights just seem to work out great. Finished work tonight and headed to Velour for farewell drinks for A from work. Not a bad place, a bit dated in the whole Melbourne scene at the moment, but passable. Stayed there until about quarter to seven and headed home on the train, meeting G and Ly near the station, heading to where we were going out for tea, a Vietnamese place on Puckle street. Had a decent meal (and cheap) and grabbed a DVD, the Stepford wives, and headed home, all the time entertained Ly messaging her boy. The movie was surprisingly good and G and I quite enjoyed it. Ly retired early, as she had caved and agreed to have S over, as long as he didn’t have to ‘deal’ with her friends! Caught the end of the marathon Open match between Johannson and Lopez that went to about 11-13 in the fifth set. Finished the third bottle of wine, tried to help H with computer troubles and now I’m blogging.
Still waiting for my foofpod to arrive, hopefully Monday.
