If you can’t beat ‘em… Xbox 360 and iPod

The chat about the Xbox 360 working with iPods looks like the real deal. This is pretty interesting stuff from Microsoft, embracing an Apple product. Kind of admitting defeat on the personal music player side of things. I wonder whether they met with Apple about it, or whether they just went ahead by themselves. If it’s a solo job, then there’s every chance that future iPods and firmware versions will break the link between the two. Integrating a dock would be a very cool addition to the 360, but I’m surprised more manufacturers haven’t gone down this path.
