Unbelievable! iTunes Music Store open in Australia

Date October 25, 2005

The time has finally come: Apple have opened the Australian ITMS. I’ll have a play when I get home, but it looks like songs will cost A$1.69, videos will cost A$3.39 and albums will cost A$16.99. This is a substantial percentage more than the US ITMS, with songs being A37c more expensive, videos A74c more expensive and albums A$3.67 more expensive. However, this is in tune (itune?) with other countries’ ITMS, so I guess we can’t complain.
Anyway, I’ll write more once I’ve had the chance to do some shopping…

edit: I don’t think Sony/BMG are in there…
