Scoble’s exit interview
July 3, 2006
Scoble’s open-forum exit interview would have to be one of the most interesting inside-tech things I’ve read recently. It’s open, honest and provides a fair bit of insight into the whole Microsoft/Scoble era. I will say that since I’ve known of Scoble, Microsoft has made a lot of positive moves where once they couldn’t help but make bad ones. I’m not sure whether this is because of the spin he has put on a lot of issues I’ve read about, or whether Microsoft has become more open and transparent through blogging etc., but it’s been refreshing. Couple that with how great I think Vista and Office 2007 are so far and they’re fast working their way into my good books. Unthinkable a few years ago.
Well done Scoble, best of luck for the future.
