I find a certain kind of perverse irony in a group of smokers huddling around bemoning their flagging numbers when one comes out with ‘Yeah, we’re a dying breed’. It’s all I can do not to laugh out loud right then and there.

Just downloaded and played with iTunes 7. It’s great, but seems a little confused when it comes to my iPod, see the below picture and do the sums…I really want to update my old 4G 20Gig iPod, but I also don’t want to be shafted if the rumoured widescreen, touchscreen version comes out in Q1 [...]

Four hours to go until the next big Mac-vention thingy and the iTunes store is down. That’s a very good sign. I’m hoping it’s a new iPod – I need a newy and this would be just in time for me to head overseas with it. Bugger the announcement being at 4.00 in the morning…
